Hunting Footwear & Boots

Worn in place of your boots, the Super Down Burner Bootie is the ultimate packable insulating solution to keeping your feet warm on a hunt in extreme conditions. Whether you’re hunkered down for an unexpected night on the mountain, glassing in frozen terrain, or while in your sleeping bag, they lock in heat and provide furnace-like warmth. These down booties are perfect for changing out of cold and damp boots and socks and can be slipped right on. Offering incredible warmth, they’re insulated with a combination of 850 fill-power Quixdown® insulation throughout the upper and Primaloft® Gold Cross Core at the junction points. Built with a highly water-resistant Stunner Stretch® fabric exterior, they prevent moisture from migrating inside the bootie, while a cinch cord at the top locks in heat. The durable outer sole fabric and stiff foam footbed make these booties durable and comfortable enough to walk around camp, while a silicon dot pattern on the footbed provides traction. These booties were made tall enough to overlap with the Super Down PRO Pant, so you will always have insulated coverage. Features include extended internal foam at the back of the heel with extra height to provide insulating comfort while contacting frozen ground or while in a sleeping bag. A pull tab at the back of the bootie makes it easy to cinch, and while not in use, the booties clip together for convenient storage.

Best Use: All Conditions Built to keep your feet warm and protected in cold, muddy, and icy conditions, the HD Mud Boot is constructed of heavy-duty and insulating neoprene for added warmth, vulcanized rubber overlay for added durability, and an EVA sole for all-day comfort. The interior is lined with a premium grid-fleece for added warmth, enhanced air circulation, and fast dry time. A combination of the boot’s flexible upper and ¾ shank strike the balance of comfort and support. Designed for heavy use in muddy conditions, the patent-pending boot tread design, inspired by self-cleaning mountain bike tires, features optimally shaped and spaced lugs that disengage mud, so you don’t get weighed down. Pair that with the optimized fit of the ankle to minimize heel lift, and you have a solid system to traverse through sticky clay and deep mud. Features include durable woven pull loops, which make the boot easy to put on but also allow you to fold the boot upper down for a more rapid air-out. On the heel is an integrated kick-off tab for easy removal. The boots fit true to size with midweight socks, upsizing is recommended if you measure between sizes. With the combination of 7mm insulating neoprene, grid-fleece interior, and vulcanized overlay, they are comparable to 1000+ gram insulated boots. Product testers reported all-day comfort in a broad range of temperatures from 50 to -20 F while active , and 70 t o 15 °F while in the stand .
